They Live

I watched John Carpenter’s “They Live” on Netflix yesterday. I last saw it, in part, in the mid 1990’s.

It’s an interesting film, if you haven’t seen it.

IMDB has the genre as; Action | Horror | Sci-Fi | Thriller

For me, I would add “Comedy”: the ever present threat / aliens are outlandishly and hilariously ugly. Also, the fight scene in the alley, between Frank and Nada is humorously exaggerated and long. Why Nada can’t explain in a few simple words, why Frank should put the glasses on??!! The “disappearing act” holes that open up. Multiple other scenes and the general hammy nature of Nada’s character … I find it very funny.
