Rezam Al Roumi, one of the financial motivators behind the project, says that this process is proving to be painstaking but is essential. “We are daring to be different, just as Giotto Bizzarrini was back in the 1960s. Giotto was a pioneer – an engineer who rivaled Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini, and Battista Farina.”
“He believed in building the very best racing machine of the age, using the best available technology and a strong personal vision,” said Al Roumi. With promises like these, the revival cars are likely to be brilliant in every way, but even Bizzarrini is marketing them as low-volume collector cars, so don’t expect to see one ripping around a track anytime soon.
