Lamborghini had an incredible 2021 despite the many challenges facing the auto industry. Luxury vehicles in general, including Rolls-Royce and Bentley, reported strong sales last year, appearing to be mostly immune to the ongoing pandemic and resulting supply chain issues. As for Lamborghini, it set an all-time sales record.
A grand total of 8,405 vehicles were delivered globally, an increase of 13 percent over 2020. In fact, there was double-growth in key regions, including the US, the firm’s strongest market, where a total of 2,472 units were delivered an increase of 11 percent.
Elsewhere, China secured second place with a 55 percent increase (935 units), followed by Germany (16 percent, 706 units), and the UK (9 percent and 564 units). Lamborghini’s home country of Italy also did quite well where 359 vehicles were delivered, a 3 percent improvement from last year.
