BangShift.com Triumph Land Speed Bike

The bike you’ll see in the video was built by Lowbrow Customs of Ohio, it features not one, but two Triumph engines. The guys at Lowbrow are calling the bike 1955 Triumph, but obviously extensive modifications have been made to the chassis to accommodate the two engines and to create a riding position to allow for the rider to cope with the big speeds this baby will turn on the salt.

We’re not sure how much power it made, but if we had to guess, 100hp is about where we would put it. If the engines are really worked to the max maybe it is more than that, but getting 50hp out of each of those old Triumph mills would take some good hot rodding and this bike appears to be full of good hot rodding.

The sounds that this bike makes in the few quick pulls it makes on the dyno are wonderful. We’re total suckers for the sounds of ancient British bikes and when you can hear two of the cool engines barking through open pipes while all cooped up in a dyno cell, it is all the better. Chad will be on the salt and paying attention this coming week so when we learn what kind of numbers this British twin engine terror turns, you’ll be the first to know!
