SMART safety comes as standard in new 2021 i30 hatchback in the form of a generous SmartSense suite, along with freshly updated styling to match the striking i30 sedan, and extra equipment.

Following Hyundai’s new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language the new range is made up of the fresh faced i30 (as the base model is now simply known), Active and Elite, alongside the sports styled N Line and N Line Premium variants.

As part of the upgraded safety tech, every i30 variant now includes collision-avoidance assist, driver attention warning, and lane keeping and lane following assist. Some grades also feature blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert and smart cruise control.

The base i30 hatch now features alloy wheels, an upgraded 8.0-inch multimedia system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a 7.0-inch colour LCD supervision cluster.

Also standard across the range are a leather steering wheel and gear knob, an electronic parking brake and air-conditioning vents for rear occupants. The Active builds on this impressive start with a a leather interior and larger, 17-inch alloy wheels.

The tech focused i30 Elite features a crisp and clear 10.25-inch navigation unit, Infinity premium audio, a smart key and push button start.

The N Line variant bring a 150kW 1.6-turbo engine, sports suspension and LED headlights, while the flagship N Line Premium combines i30 luxury features with N Line performance enhancements in a single well-appointed package.

All 2021 i30 hatchback variants also benefit from an Australian tuned ride and handling programme, developed over thousands of grueling R&D kilometres, across a range of challenging Australian conditions.

The 2021 i30 hatchback is available in seven exterior colours; Polar White, Phantom Black, Fluidic Metal and Amazon Grey, as well as the vivid Intense Blue and Fiery Red, and the vibrant N Line-specific Lava Orange.

Pricing starts from $23,420 (plus on-roads) for the entry level i30 hatchback through to $36,220 (plus on-roads) for the to N Line Premium. For further information and to book a test drive, please contact your local Hyundai dealer.
