It seems like everything on the planet has had an LS swap done to it nowadays, so we tend to assume that every LS swap will be pretty simple. But sometimes, this is just not the case. When Brent and Kyle looked at putting a 5.3 LS into Kyle’s wife’s 1954 Bel Air I’m sure they thought it would be pretty easy, but that was before getting a look at the giant power steering box that is bolted to the side of the chassis on this thing. The box is huge, and right in the way of the exhaust manifold.

In typical Brent fashion, he finds a workaround and gets things rolling. You’ll see all the work required in the video below.
