I’m a guy that has his car tattooed on his body, in fact I have three of my cars tattooed on my body. But I realize this isn’t the norm and that means you have to have a special kind of relationship with, and a special kind of commitment to, your car if you actually do have a tattoo of it. Such is the case with Don McLain, who has this awesome 1970 Torino, a car that he’s owned since 1971 and that has been through a few different iterations over the years. This newest one is pretty badass and the gang at Holley caught up with him at the 2022 National Hot Rod Reunion to see what this ride was all about.

In it’s most recent build, the Ford was treated to a 545ci big-block, Sniper EFI, and a toned-down paint job that looks a mile deep.
