Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe

Few cars on earth can compete with this Mercedes-Benz E400 that looks so bad we want to kill it with fire.

We’ve seen some truly disgustingly modified vehicles in our years on this giant rock, but for the most part, those horrific creations are based on something cheap, mass-produced, and boring. Just because someone has the desire and the means to purchase something like a Mercedes doesn’t necessarily mean that they also have good taste, however. Case in point – this horrific Mercedes-Benz E400 coupe that was recently spotted by a Reddit member and posted to the always entertaining r/Shitty_Car_Mods community.

Aside from the lack of a tacked-on AMG badge, this Mercedes-Benz E400 features pretty much every other tacky, disgusting mod one can imagine. This goes beyond the typical AutoZone build, incorporating so many weird parts and pieces that you’ll spend far too much time staring at this photo and trying to spot them all. It’s kind of like playing Where’s Waldo, but on a vehicle that makes us literally sick to our stomachs the more we stare at it.

Those mods include the typical gigantic rear wing, fender flares, rear diffuser, and body kit, but the bulk of the car is also bedazzled like a pair of jeans from the 1990s. There’s an abundance of chrome and red accents for good measure, making for a truly busy appearance that certainly doesn’t work on a vehicle that costs over $60k new on the showroom floor.

Clearly, this particular E400 is owned by some young person as well, as we can tell from the Autobot (of Transformers fame) fuel filler cap, while the head of that robot takes up residence on the wing ends, along with “Tron,” for some odd reason, which at least complements the gaudy body kit. There are also some red tribal flames like you’d see on a bad tattoo, along with an American flag appliqué on the doors in a bit of a patriotic salute – on a German car.

Throw in some random things like stars and a pair of wings around the Mercedes logo on the trunk, and there’s just so much going on here that it’s hard to soak it all in. In fact, it’s probably a good thing that we only have a single shot of the rear of the car, because we can’t even imagine how ugly the front is.
