BangShift.com $1,000 Build: The Hot Rod F100 Is Coming Together For Stupid Cheap Money!

When you decide to build something on the cheap, and to share the entire experience with the world, it is pretty cool. But when you do so in a way that shows every detail, and every expense, including the cost of the tools you used, that is a whole other level of bad as right there. That is exactly what is going on here with the Casey’s Customs F100 project. Call it a rat rod, call it a hot rod, whatever you want to call it this thing is rad and we dig it. Seriously. building a car this cheap is so up our alley it defies description.

This F100 body, which we know lots of guys who would have loved to start a project with, and a Ford Crown Vic (actually a Lincoln Towncar in this case), along with some creative and simple fabrication are going together to make this low, cool, and fun to drive hot rod. Yes it will be a “rat rod” style ride as paint isn’t in the $1,000 budget, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t do your own and then spend another $1,000 painting it at home to end up with a “pretty” hot rod that you still spent almost no money on.
