2021 Pro Touring Truck Shootout Action Photos: Ford, Dodge, and GM Trucks Rip The Autocross In Arizona
(Photos by Wes Allison) – The first annual Pro Touring Truck Shootout took place at Chandler, Arizona’s Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park and the event brought out the most awesome pro touring rigs in the country for a three way Ford, Dodge, and GM battle royale. With the explosive popularity of trucks in the world of pro touring competition, we know it would only be a matter of time before someone told the cars to stay home and let all the heavy iron battle it out.
The event was amazing with talented drivers and amazing trucks doing their best to burn up the course. Short beds, long beds, step sides, and yes even a flatbed or two threw down to see who could be the fastest. There were multiple categories of trucks as well. Oh, and did the names show up? Guys like Brian Finch were there, so yes, the names showed up.
There was a truck show and a massive manufacturer’s midway as well. We’ll have continuing coverage this week of the event with more action and show photos as well. THIS is one to put on your calendar for 2022!
