Tiny Terror: Six Cubic Inches and Eight Thousand RPM Never Sounded So Good! Tiny Blown V8
We have long loved miniature V8 engines around here, heck miniature engines of all sizes. We doubly love the ones that guys scratch build themselves as a test of their creativity and machining ability. Well, we have a new favorite! This engine, from the supercharger on down was built by one guy, from scratch. It is 6.28ci and as you will hear, it sounds incredible at 8,000 RPM as Mr Baker himself makes a series of pulls through the rev range. To say that the thing climbs the rev scale quick would be an understatement. It is instant.
We’ll let Mr Baker himself tell you about his engine and it’s features and then give us the full sound experience. The aweosme nature of these custom made pieces makes us smile every time. We all like to tinker and play in the shop and so doesn’t Baker. This thing is small but it is not a toy!
