Yes this is intriguing me as well, as the competition engine has the same maximum power output but the torque values are different (more peak torque in the G80 version, 10% more?) I don’t think they have released a dyno plot yet for M3/4 S58.
My X3MC is:
503@5950-7300 and 442@2600-5500
The G80 version is
503@6250 and 479@2750-5500
So X3MC S58 holds maximum power for 1350 rpm to 7300rpm the G80 version maxes out at 6250rpm which is later but can’t hold it to the redline but the G80 makes more torque but it starts later, G80 version looks to have more mid range punch but less top end.
