Tesla Releases Images Of Upcoming Changes To Model S and Model X Interiors – Futuristic Looks Happening Now

(By Tom Lohnes) – The Tesla model S and X have been some hot sellers lately, with the S being the all-time best-selling Tesla due to the fact that it is the oldest, and the X selling so well to people who want gullwing doors. After eight years on the market for the S, and six years on the market for the X, they booth receive a refresh, and in typical Tesla style, it’s controversial.

The most talked-about feature of these new vehicles is the interior. Replacing their normal steering wheels with yokes that basically look straight out of KITT is an interesting move that people are definitely talking about. The screen has gone from giant and upright to giant and sideways, and there is a screen in the back with as much power as the new Xbox and PS5 to play games on. New for performance is the Plaid and Plaid+ models, with the latter expected to hit 60 in 1.9 seconds for the S, and 2.1 seconds for the X. Styling is barely changed, which is a good thing for the handsome model S and an eh thing for the rather goofy-looking Model X.

Pricing for these electric titans of the industry starts at a reasonable $71,500 for the X, and $69,420 for the Model S, which you would have to guess was chosen by Elon himself.
