If there’s one thing we know it’s that there are certain vehicles on two wheels or four that everyone wants or wants back. The awesome little Honda Trail 70 is one of them. Sold by the millions for decades, these are pit bikes, kid bikes, and basically fantastic little machines that people either grew up on or bought and played with for many, many years. They are also highly desirable and prices have shot through the roof. Small enough to fit anywhere, fun as hell to ride, and neat looking, they’re like little classic cars in the sense that they bring back great memories for so many people.

The crew at Hagerty knows this and that is why their latest project is the complete restoration of a Honda Trail 70 from the engine all the way to the hand grips. This first video is the teardown of the little cycle and Davin doesn’t waste any time or hide any aspect of the process from us. Not only do we see the bike itself come to pieces but we actually see the guts of the engine and transmission as well.
