BangShift.com Allis-Chalmers Dealer Film Is All In On Killer Tractor Pulling

This is some gold right here. Between the cool tractors, the basic and awesome old sleds, and the footage of them both working together, this is about 10-minutes of gearhead heaven. The name of this Allis-Chalmers film is called The Roar of Power and it is a promotional piece made to show off the sport of NTPA tractor pulling as well as the clear involvement of Allis-Chalmers in said activity. From the interviews with successful pullers, NTPA officials, and the history shown, it’s a really awesome deal. Hell, the footage of Barney Oldfield participating in a wildly old school “tractor race” at a claimed 60mph, it’s fantastic!

Just like the drag racing films of the day, the connection between motorsport and machine is drawn back to the benefits of the data collected by a manufacturer. We’re thinking the data collected by getting their machines in front of thousands and thousands of farmers ever year was the real value, but you’ll hear about how some of these guys are making 300% more than the listen horsepower with loads of factory parts.

Some of the tractors are downright freaky in the best of ways. You’ll see at least two where the driver’s head is basically even, if not a little below the tops of the big rear tires. Tractor engines, airplane engines, tank engines. All shown. So cool!
