My 228i M-Sport is on H&R/Bilsteins with 18×8.5+35 225/40 and the M3 LCA/TS modification. Ive rolled the front fenders and still get tire rub on the front of the fender/bumper on the highway. This is from the LCA/TS pushing the wheels forward in the arches.
I am looking to get the wheels back closer to the stock position in the arch to alleviate the rubbing on the front. Will adjusting the caster with Bushings help do the job?
Is there any insight on the +/- 4° of caster adjustability with the SPL Bushings vs the 1.5° with the Whiteline Bushings? I love the steering weight from the current caster setup, and Id like to find the ideal caster setting that fixes the rub but keeps as much steering weight as possible. Is all 4° necessary/usable to get rid of rub?
